This busy and exciting 6 month contract will see you focused on gathering and leading project requirements from conception through to delivery. Working across multiple project teams and project, this role will be responsible for facilitating requirements workshops, generating user stories with acceptance criteria and liaising closely with each project team to ensure that requirements are accurately interpreted and understood.
Organise and facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements
Distil requirements into succinct user stories with acceptance criteria scenarios
Ensure user stories are updated to reflect changes in business needs and priorities
Manage the prioritisation of requirements and the user story backlog
Collaborate with the project team, vendors and external partners to ensure that user stories are clear, accurate and understood
Assist the project manager with the facilitation of project kick-off activities
Coordinate and assist with User Acceptance Testing
Contribute to the assessment of third-party products
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Business Analysis
Tertiary qualifications or industry certifications in an Information Technology, Information Systems or other related discipline
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences as well as stakeholders at all levels
Experience facilitating requirements workshops
Ability to operate autonomously with little direction as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Exceptional team player with a willingness to perform tasks outside their role when required
Demonstrated initiative, flexibility and an ability to work under pressure
An understanding of Agile principles and practices
Experience liaising with vendors and external organisations
