Business Development Manager

About the role

We’re looking for a high performer to join the team as a Business Development Manager. The primary purpose of this newly created role is to help OES establish its place in the Business Training and Education market. This person will be responsible for shaping and forming the businesses B2B strategy and is best suited to someone who is comfortable working in a greenfield space, and is energised by shaping the future of this function.

This is an initial 12 month contract with view to perm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high quality proposals and “quotes”.
  • Close business deals & achieve sales targets by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts.
  • Locate and propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What we’re looking for

  • Proven ability in achieving targets in field based B2B sales
  • Experience working in new business territory, building out & revising strategy
  • Ability to approach and engage with a variety of key stakeholders
  • A mature approach to consultative selling
  • Excellent communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • A positive attitude, with an unyielding passion for success
  • Extensive social and business networks
