Senior Team Leader, Sales

The role

An opportunity has become available for someone to truly excel in a hands-on, people-focused role. The role of  Senior Team Leader, Sales is responsible for the OES direct sales team who offer course consultation services for prospective students, guiding them through their decision making journey and managing the enrolment process.

Day to day the Senior Team Leader, Sales will be responsible for leading, developing and motivating the team to thrive in a high performing, values based and student-centric environment.

This role is an initial 6 month contract, with view to perm.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience leading in a sales team/ contact centre
  • Previous experience tracking team performance, sales targets & KPIs
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, support & provide feedback
  • Previous experience applying sales methodologies to practice
  • Demonstrated experience coaching, mentoring & developing staff
  • A demonstrated commitment to exemplary customer service
  • A belief in a culture that maximises employee & student engagement
  • A genuine interest in people & building relationships
  • A tertiary degree (desirable)
  • Experience working in Education industry highly desirable

  • Promoting a culture of excellent sales through service
  • Delivery of Sales targets every teaching period
  • Improvement in conversion rates each teaching period
  • High employee engagement and retention of “key talent” employees
  • The development of a suite of resources and strategies to support team onboarding, training and development.
  • Ongoing development of the Course Consultants
