Student Engagement Advisor

The role is 0.8 (4 days per week) and an initial 12 month contract.  To be considered you must have a minimum bachelor level qualification and work experience within a telephone based role.

As part of the Student Success team, you can expect to have encouraging and genuine conversations aimed at supporting students who are disengaged with their studies. We are looking for passionate, proactive, empathetic and resourceful team members capable of facilitating a measurable difference in student retention and engagement. The role requires you to make outbound calls to students and past students who have withdrawn, so you must enjoy interacting and building rapport on the phone.

Shifts: Please note that shift time is 10am-6pm.

To be successful for this position, you must have:

  • Minimum bachelor level degree is desirable
  • Experience in an outbound role within a call centre or telephone support setting is essential
  • Experience working in retention or consultative sales
  • A passion to maximise student engagement & experience
  • Team player with “can do” attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal & written communication skills
  • Demonstrated high-level computer literacy
