OES’s unique relationship with the SEEK Group provides our partners with unrivalled access to exclusive global education and job market trends. This intelligence provides strategic insights to inform the overall direction of our partners’ online offering, supporting investment in new course areas and expansion into new geographies.
SEEK is the world’s leading online employment marketplace with a market capitalisation of AU$7 billion and exposure to over 2.9 billion people. Education is core to SEEK’s purpose, with a focus on helping working adults achieve their career aspirations through online learning.
SEEK has a presence in 18 countries and owns leading job boards in several regions, including China, Brazil, Mexico, and across South East Asia. Through SEEK’s relationship with over 1.1 million hirers and 215 million candidates, OES can provide unmatched access for our partners seeking to maximise their online education pipeline.
OES offers powerful sales and marketing capability to achieve optimal growth for our partners. Through SEEK, our partners can access a student acquisition pipeline via their global job boards, delivering a current pool of prospective students. This is complemented by our internal marketing department, which specialises in digital marketing strategies to reach the online student. To capitalise on the pipeline, OES employs a team of student recruitment consultants who utilise sophisticated lead generation strategies to drive sustainable enrolment volume.
Market research and segmentation, including psychographic and demographic profiling, provide deep insights into specific market segments and inform key decisions regarding communication strategies. This, combined with continuous digital and social marketing data, informs key messaging themes and shapes go-to-market campaigns.
In 2011, OES joined forces with Swinburne University of Technology to launch Swinburne Online. Launching with 10 undergraduate courses in the fields of Business, Social Science and Communication, Swinburne Online quickly became the fastest-growing provider of online higher education courses in Australia.
A key factor in Swinburne Online’s success has been providing a flexible, high-quality education offering to a cohort of students who were not previously catered for, or suited to, on-campus study. By reaching this demographic, the university has enrolled over 10,000 students into its online offering.
Swinburne Online has now expanded to offer 27 different undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in the three original fields, plus Education, Psychology and Design. In addition, Swinburne Online offers three technical and diploma level courses in the field of Business, designed to transition students into higher education courses.
Looking ahead, Swinburne Online has a range of new courses in development based on industry intelligence and new market opportunities.
